Prolyte has developed a new type of Stage DEX, the Lyte-line DEX. The Lyte-line decks are made of a special type of sandwich panel with an integrated side profile and leg attachtment. This sandwich construction is made of aluminium, carbon fibre and wood and is reversible, so the panel can be used on both sides. This high tech material combines features like strength and hard surfaces with a very low self weight due to it’s unique construction. The reduced volume and low self weight of the Lyte-Line decks save transportation and handling costs. The allowable loading is the same as the other types of Stage DEX, 750kg/m2. The construction height is only 70mm. Prolyte has produced the first series of concept Lyte-line decks. Several prototypes will be tested intensively in a full operational context before the definite version will be available for our customers. Prolyte will keep you updated on this new development.
